Come and watch a Kapiti Volleyball Club invitational team play the Paraparaumu College senior boys team.

Last year's encounter between these two teams was a closely fought affair, with the Club eventually triumphing 3-1. We're sure that the College will be looking for revenge this time...

The Orbit Systems Cup will be awarded to the winning team to proudly display until the next challenge.

Spectators welcome - FREE admission!

KVC club members - please come along and support your club. We will also need volunteers for line judging, scoring, etc.

One lucky person (a player or spectator) will go home with a new volleyball as a spot prize for just being there!

The game will be best of 5 sets with no time limit. Each set will be rally-point, up to 25 points, although the set must be won by at least 2 points. The KVC league rules will apply.

Result

On paper it might look like it was close, but in reality the Kapiti Volleyball Club side was never in this game. The College Senior Boys team brought their A game to the match, playing much better than last year. Their teamwork, skill and powerful hitting were a credit to them and Coach Hose. The Club team was left wanting, and will really have to step it up to test the College in the next encounter.

After two matches the tally is now 1-1. Watch for the next game coming later this year...
