Warehouse Management

Orbit Systems staff developed and support warehouse management and inventory systems including for Procter & Gamble:

An automated planning system that provides sophisticated functionality to optimise warehouse usage and reduce double handling;
Pallet packing software which produced layout plans for packing so as to maximise stability and minimise product damage; and
Truck loading software that optimises truck-loading operations, considering load stability, pallet loading, axle weight limits and loading/unloading requirements
